Started watching Grey's Anatomy and I deeply regret it. It's sad because the side characters are played by really good actors and actresses and their stories are pretty interesting, but the main characters are vapid, stupid people who should go die. I like that they have good roles for women and people of color. It's actually surprising how good those roles are given when it first aired. But the main story is just so cloyingly bad that it ruins the whole thing.

I started watching the British panel comedy, Taskmaster. I slogged through a couple random bits but found it eventually grew on me such that I ended up binging the entirety of the series in order over a weekend. I was actually thinking whether or not something like that could work in the US. To my surprise, it had been tried a couple of years ago. It was severely disappointing to say the least.

Condor is back! Based on Three Days of the Condor, which is based on Six Days of the Condor (novel), it follows Joe Turner, a CIA analyst who gets into a bit of a pickle. If you're going in blind, you'll love it. If you're a fan of the book and film, you'll also really enjoy it.

Condor is fresh and plays well with the concept. It's a lean series, but also maintains a good pace. I'd say it's a solid 8/10.

It was on Audience, which is now an HBO Max preview channel or something... so I have no idea where it's actually airing for folks who don't steal it. :)
