Finally got around to watching The Plot Against America, and I'm rather disappointed. I was expecting more, a deeper dive into this alternate history and events and how life changes. But due to the length and I guess the original novel, I felt less like I was watching the story of this Jewish family in alt history America and more of a supercut of various events. They jump between events and skim over events so quick I didn't actually realize things had happened in between episodes essentially. The conclusion was super strange and so unbelievable that I was just left laughing and confused who I was supposed to be disliking, can I hate a man who was being forcing to do the things he did. Continuing the confusing messaging, what was with the whole Jewish kids widening their worldview plot about. They cast it as a terrible thing, but in the end it was just a super non-issue camp to learn more about the people and places in America.

I'm so thankful that it's also a weekly series and not a binge. The pacing is so perfect, but I think it'd be lost over one or two sittings.
