This looks good! I'll enjoy the first season before the inevitable cancellation on the season 1 cliffhanger!

Speaking of, and totally offtopic... but does anyone else find themselves unable to get excited for Netflix shows anymore? I used to get excited for them, and watch most of them as soon as they came out, but not anymore... largely due to their seemingly much more frequent cancellations disappointing me over and over again. :(

I know the same happens frequently for shows on cable too, but at least on cable some shows go into 7+ seasons, which almost never seems to be allowed to happen on Netflix. And also, since I don't have cable anymore and tend to only watch shows from there once they are totally done airing, I am never really disappointed the show was cancelled due to knowing when they were before I even start watching them.

This looks pretty interesting and is a show that has apparently been in the works for quite awhile based on this interview from the show creator Tom Bidwell from BBC back in 2018:

I’m currently working on a Netflix Original series called The Irregulars. Sherlock Holmes had a group of street kids he’d use to help him gather clues so our series is what if Sherlock was a drug addict and a delinquent and the kids solve the whole case whilst he takes credit. It’s my dream project and my oldest idea (I’ve been pitching it for ten years) and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be working on it with the team I made My Mad Fat Diary with at Drama Republic. Netflix are incredibly supportive for our vision for the show and it’s allowing us to be very ambitious with the way we’re telling our stories.
