Hope you enjoy! I have a feeling once it’s full release it’ll be a big hit.

I’ve been really into Tiny Rogues lately. It’s an action roguelite with a ton of content and unique visuals. Each run feels completely different depending on equipment, traits, weapons, etc. There are a ton of different characters to play as and unlock. I can’t recommend it enough for only $10. It’s still in early access so there are still more updates to come but it already feels very polished.

I picked up Deep Rock Galactic while it was on sale and it was a great buy. I’ve wanted it for a while but didn’t have anyone to play with but decided to give solo a shot anyway. The visuals and mechanics are so satisfying. The progression system is great and the gameplay loop is really fun to me. I liked it so much I bought it for my friend and we’ve been playing it a lot. I highly recommend it for playing alone or with friends!

Life has been hard lately. I’ve been battling depression for most of my life but for the past few months there has been more symptoms. I moved in with my long term girlfriend and everything seemed to be going well, I felt happy, she did too until a few weeks ago. She decided it wasn’t working for her. I had been putting too much pressure on her to lift my mood and for her to encourage me to go out and be social. Since then I’ve started medication and I’ve been pushing myself to attend more events and hang out with friends.

But there’s still part of me that feels lost and I’m sure I’ll feel this way for a while. I no longer have the apartment I was so excited about. I’m out of work and jobs could take me anywhere throughout the country. Losing my girlfriend/best friend has made this all so much worse.

I’m hoping some things start making sense and I can be comfortable being on my own again.

I totally get that. I definitely had to push through the gameplay loop a couple times. I think the atmosphere was what brought me back.

I think you’re right. I saw something about a dev comment somewhere about wanting to do that but I couldn’t find a formal mention anywhere.

Last week I picked up Dredge on sale. Typically I am more into multiplayer games but something about the setting and art style was interesting to me so I had to try it out. I didn't mind the quick time events while catching fish and the fast passage of time really created some tension. Overall, I highly recommend it to those who just have it wishlisted.

My only criticism is that there could have been more to do post-story. I could fully upgrade everything, sure; but there aren't any new areas to explore so there isn't a ton of incentive. Though, I guess its a good thing when you want to continue playing and unlocking things. Hopefully some dlc/expansions are announced because I would definitely get them.

Typically I’m not into rpg / open world games like Everspace but something about the combat, movement, and variety keeps me playing. I highly recommend it!

I got it to play with a friend and was a little surprised with how much I liked it. It sounded like it was getting overhyped to an extent but there is a lot of content and progression already built into the game. I think the battle pass era of multiplayer progression has gotten pretty stale, battlebit has brought back how multiplayer used to feel and it’s great.

Of course the game isn’t perfect but it’s still in early access so hopefully consistent patches continue and more content is added.
