That said, if it's something you're interested in but the cost seems prohibitive, a lot of therapists do offer sliding-scale payment or even waive payment if you can't afford it. Usually they'll mention sliding-scale on their website or on their page on psychologytoday.

Comment on Would love to get recommendations for songs/musicians for my get-up-and-get-ready and workout playlists - like Doja Cat, Dua Lipa, Rina Sawayama, and/or Y2K pop like Britney Spears, LFO in ~music
Dendoa MUNA! Songs that come to mind are I Know A Place, Silk Chiffon, and Pink Light, but they're generally super fun. If you're open to really diverging genre, I also find kpop to be good for pump-up...MUNA! Songs that come to mind are I Know A Place, Silk Chiffon, and Pink Light, but they're generally super fun.
If you're open to really diverging genre, I also find kpop to be good for pump-up music! It's a bit of an adjustment genre-wise, but songs like BTS' Blood, Sweat and Tears and Itzy's Wannabe always wake me up -

Have been meaning to look into more; appreciate this post for reminding me!
I thought this book was one of the stranger things I've read. Often I would pause at a description of some odd and strange world and wonder more about it, which isn't something I'm used to when reading! The flashes of worldbuilding that we got were so intriguing. As for the actual plot itself, I thought it was quite lovely but also in a sense very slow-moving; you can arguably summarize the whole book in a few sentences and it would capture most of the plot. But as a vehicle to deliver beautiful prose and settings, I thought it worked wonderfully. A very meditative sort of story.
