    I hope it is as at least as good as the Chinese show. There are parts that are drawn out and some corniness but some of it is just so damn good. All the Red Coast Base parts I thought were gold....

You could tell there was a desire to tiptoe around the line of censorship they faced concerning the Cultural Revolution parts, especially the father. The guy who played the detective was perfectly spot on. I see him when I think of that character now.

    I’m glad it seems this Netflix series isn’t willing to leave out that the integral character of the series has some serious reservations about humanity itself after the way her father was treated. The Chinese show waters that part down pretty heavily.

Perun on YouTube dives deep into it. But I’m left combing through countless twitter and telegram posts to catch the rest.

    I know a lot of people won’t want to see that kind of stuff ever. I certainly know it probably won’t ever be here. The nice thing about CombatFootage though is it still hid the absolute worst of it. Now clicks can be a little riskier and I’ll spare anyone reading from the details.
