    I love Nusrat. He usually sings in punjabi (my language) or urdu. If anyone's interested, I highly recommend to check out his album Night Song with Michael Brook.

    Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan - Manam Mehve Khayal-e-oo, Language - Persian This is a Qawwali (which is a form of sufi/devotional singing). The style is probably not something most of you might be used to...

    This is a Qawwali (which is a form of sufi/devotional singing). The style is probably not something most of you might be used to and they are usually very long (15-20 minutes) but worth it :p

    Nikamma is a track from the album Jaago by Lifafa, a Delhi based artist. The album mixes soulful hindi vocals with electronic music. Suryakant (the person behind the project) has an amazing voice....

    Favourite tracks - Jaago, Mere Saath, Ek Nagma.

    They also have another project, Peter Cat Recording Co. (Bandcamp) which has a sort of jazzy vibe to it. I would recommend their album Bismillah.
