    This is the kind of information I was waiting for. He was hit by glass and not a bullet, which makes the video make a lot more sense.

    If all you need is dead people to not see this as suspicious of certain aspects that is fine by me. I on the other hand am willing to wait more then 5 hours to get the full information. Still...

Still waiting for video evidence of trump being grazed, that is all. The fist pump and everything surrounding it feels very contrived, that is what I take issue with.

    I will not say what happened because I do not know. That's the point.

    I advise everyone to hold off on overreacting to this until we have more information on this. I want to see actual evidence that the bullet grazed him before I fully believe these events or condem them as staged. Some of this is not adding up and it will become more apparent what is real and not after more information is released.

    I hope James sees this and understands the value of it and him. Being a pioneer does not mean you are the greatest in ability at what you do, and not being the best does not mean you give no value. We all have faults, pursuit of personal growth in whatever way you can is what matters. And all I have ever heard about him is that James has grown into the role of a good father and husband.

    And with that small comment the internet now has a small insight into me, and the cascading effect of analyzing/interpreting art continues lol

    The last 3 minutes of the teaser are very off putting and show why I do not follow Lindsay anymore. The first part composed of researched and informative information that guides the view into feeling sympathy and understanding of Yoko's plight is the type of writing I use to enjoy of hers. Then once Lindsay places herself into the doc the tone switches to being condescending, bitter "I am better than you" narcissistic trash. The exchange of "yoko ono broke up the Beatles" being what I now hate about her writing. Without even seeing the irony she judges someone for being uninformed while using "OK Boomer" which in itself is a uninformed idea that our generation has all the answers.

    Of course that is just my opinion, if you enjoy her content I am sure y'all will enjoy this one.

    I completely agree. The parallel I was trying to make was a performer taking advantage of their audience through manipulation. Going to a strip club, being with a prostitute, or watching a streamer all have the ability to use those positions of power to prey on people to get more money. It is not specifically what the job is, but the job allows for it to be exploited and very lucrative.

    I know the whole thing has been reversed by now but I really just want to say something about the whole streaming scene, both the non-pornographic and otherwise.

    It is a platform that rewards performers taking advantage of their viewers. Is this true of other artist/fan relationships like say autograph signings? Yes, but never to this extent. A better analog would be prostitution, emotionally manipulating troubled people into giving large sums of money for social interaction and acceptance. I 100% believe in the right for these people to make money and sell a service, but something needs to be done to stop the incentive that is currently baked into these interactions.

    You give me more money I give you more attention.

    I do not know the answer to fix this, perhaps all donations become anonymous? All I know is this is the next big thing that is being overlooked by regulating bodies. 10 years ago it was lootboxes creating gambling addicts, in another 10 years we will look back at this and its mainstreamification as another example of creating addicts in the name of personal profit.

    As I said, I believe she has some valid points but sandwiched between blatant misrepresentations. I believe in the same video she mentions GTA and how one of the few built in mechanics in the game are using prostitutes. This is an optional activity but the fact it is one of the only NPC interactions in the game it can be seen as sexist. That is something I agree with for the most part, but when she twists things to fit her narrative it basically makes me not want to engage with her content because it is already coming from a dishonest place.

    As for the over the top titillation, that is something I would completely agree with. But that is something never brought up by her if I am remembering correctly. Her critique was game mechanic based, which basically shows why I think her critique is poor. But if you get value from her that is cool, you clearly see her essays are not bulletproof in all ways and I appreciate that and value your opinion because of it.

It's not, its an open choice which is not how FF portrays it.

    If anything it was what lead to large companies using it to advertise their products. The all female GhostBuster movie that became a lightning rod being a perfect manufacturered example.

I am trying to remember which video it was in, but to me the most egregious instance was her speaking of the video game Hitman and talking about how it promotes killing and desecrating strippers in a certain level. In reality, the game actively punishes you if you harm anyone that is not your soul target of the mission. She does this alot. Some of her points are valid, but that its mixed with obvious fabrications are why so many see her and her viewpoint as disingenuous.

All I was able to read is the responses which are just as accusatory as the ones I am receiving now for a opinion that is ridiculously tame.
