I'm a huge fan of Opium (the album), which has kind of a 70s rock feel with the organs and stuff. I can't tell if the lyrics are comedy or serious but it works for me.
It's weird how that happens. I heard "The Suffering" through my brother as my first C&C song and really disliked the singer. Then I played the crap out of "Welcome Home" on Rock Band and looked up the rest of their stuff. I'm a big fan up until "Year of the Black Rainbow". Their sound became very busy, and there was just too much going on for me to enjoy listening to it. Nevertheless, I'll give this one a try to see how it compares.
