I read on my phone using an app called ReadEra. Obtain book (mobi or epub format), load onto phone, read on my bus or Tube ride.

I feel that the advantage of using this method is that I don't need a separate device like a Kindle or Kobo.

I set the display to be on dark mode so the strain is reduced on my eyes and that I don't flashbang myself if I open the app at night.

    Boom, easy!

They have called it Galactica now but it's the same ride (shows how old I am?).

Oblivion (also at Alton Towers) was absolutely terrifying! That hold when you face downwards prior to the drop felt ages.

Rita was pretty good fun but if you ask me, I'd go back on Galactica any time!

Same here! I have been keeping an eye on news of its development. Hopefully all the various sub-systems (combat, space flight, base-building, planet exploration etc) mesh together nicely.

Here's hoping that the game comes out fully baked.

My foray into mechanical keyboards include:

    1. Razer Blackwidow (Cherry blues, 2012?). This was my "what is all the fuss about mechanical keyboards?" so I got this cheaper one to dip my toe into this rabbit hole. It was love at first click (or maybe clack).

    2. Ducky Shine 2 (Cherry browns, 2014). By then I knew I wanted clicky keys, but quieter. So, this was my puppy. Love it.

    3. Logitech G613 (2021). At this stage, I was keen to reduce the number of wires on my battlestation. So, I changed to this wireless keyboard, and got a G502 lightspeed to move towards this aim.

My next keyboard? Maybe a wireless TKL :)

For GG: Ah, you've read up to that book at least. That's my favourite. The tension on that Chaos planet as described by Abnett was brilliant! A++ would re-read.

Gotcha. Will start on Ciaphas Cain (Hero of the Imperium!) when I am done with The Siege of Terra. Onwards!

My Brother/Sister in WAAAGH, I really enjoyed Gaunt's Ghosts and I urge you to get back into them. Did you get to Traitor General (approx. Book 12)? I have not started on any of the Cain books yet...

I have not started on any of the Cain books yet and that's on my list. Throne, the entire Black Library is on my to-read list. I probably ought to branch out to other series or give non-fiction a try :/

Have you read the Eisenhorn series? If not, it's another one I can highly recommend :)

Warhammer 40,000: I am currently reading The Lost and the Damned, which is the second book in the Siege of Terra series; but that makes it book 56 in the Horus Heresy series. It's taken me about 5 years to get to this stage. Just a few more books to go!
