It's a 'sci-fi capitalist dystopia'-kind of book, but that's...I read Ubik a couple weeks ago, from Philip K. Dick the author of The Man in The High Castle, and to be honest it was pretty good. It's a 'sci-fi capitalist dystopia'-kind of book, but that's mostly the setting. The writing style is unique and it feels very refreshing (compared to some programmers-turned-authors I've read; looking at you Niel Stephenson and Andy Wier).
