I know exactly what you mean, Capaldi was just a weird doctor with the glasses and the guitar. He eventually grew on me though

If the US had a train and subway system that spanned the country and was feasible across the board, them I'm sure a lot of people would prefer that. But the fact of the matter is it doesn't. I'd love to be able to take public transport to work and the store, and keep my car for the weekends but that's just not going to happen where I live. If I tried to take a bus to work my commute would take 1.5 hours instead of 30 minutes. That's 2 hours of free time taken away from every work day.

Why couldn't they just come at the same time? To me at least ~urbanplanning seems too specific to be a top-level ~, and would probably be a tag instead. I recall reading that how it's planned is that sub~s would come from the site automatically making them if there is a frequency of tags under a certain ~

If we're going after pure popularity /r/cars has 12x the subscribers that /r/urbanplanning does, but I understand the demographics here wont be the same as on Reddit.

Doctor Who, probably? My boyfriend and I just finished Smith and Capaldi so we're swinging back to Tennant. After that we think we'll go into the 1st part episodes

I like this idea; it is direct and gets the job done without letting the user ignore it. It's a step in between a slap on the wrist and a temporary ban.

This I hadn't thought of in this thread so far and now the outright ban makes more sense

On a more finished site, the user would have had to earn access to the tagging systems through trusted behavior.

The way I remember it is tinkerbell tapping on the Mickey Mouse logo on the Disney Channel bumps in the 00's, that's probably what OP is thinking of.
