There's already plenty of karma farming accounts that know how to game the system. This is just going to make this worse if there is real money on the table. Expect even more useless "funny"...

Expect even more useless "funny" comments at the top of every thread, or barely relevant movie quotes, instead of good discussion about the article/picture/video.

Gaming held me back for a while from switching to Linux full time. I've used Linux at work and home for almost 20 years, but always kept my main PC with Windows for the games. I finally made the jump to full time Linux about 5 years ago, and haven't looked back. Yes, there are some games that don't work well, or at all, but there are so many games out there that I'm fine if I can't play one specific one, or I have to wait a while for Proton to get better support.

I've got CentOS 7 running on 10 year old hardware with 5 4TB drives in RAID-6. It's been running pretty much untouched since I upgraded the drives in 2017. I'm glad I didn't update it to CentOS 8 a few years ago like I was thinking of doing just before RH announced that they were killing CentOS 8 support early. I'll probably go to Rocky Linux next year when support for 7 ends.

It used to run VMs back when I built it 10 years ago, but now my main PC is a beast that can handle multiple VMs and play games at the same time, and runs Linux, so the server is basically just an onsite backup at this point.
