My players never really described how their characters looked like beyond what's on their character sheets so I think I'm just going pull some executive decisions on it lol

I do! I have a webcomic that I've been chipping at since I was a teen. I have, for the last year and a half, picked up GMing and I'm having a blast drawing maps, NPC art, and tokens. My players have requested I draw so many moments from the campaign (mostly jokingly but I do actually want to).

Working full time and all the chores leave me with so little energy after work I can't even turn on my computer (like tonight).

I voted for ETS2 for the The "Most Fun with a Machine" Award, the only thing I'm mildly invested in. Shame. Crazy how Beat Sabre didn't win it too.

That's a shame. My SO and I started talking on Google Talk, and while we have moved on to other applications, it's still a shame that they're shutting it down.

I have a soft spot for STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl (and the later games) and Mount and Blade: Warband. The best thing for both games are that the modding communities are both very active to this day. The mods continues to breathe new life to the games. And both games have squeals apparently being worked on! (M&B more so than STALKER 2, but I can hope)

There's this relevant bit from Accursed Farm's Dead Game News. Worst case scenario, if games are streaming only with no other options to play them, you can only play the game as long as the companies are willing to support them. When they pull the plug, it's gone for ever. The product service you paid for would be no longer available to you through no fault of your own (guess that's why they are pushing games as servise).
