I finished Ajin last week and I think it's probably my favorite manga yet (I'm pretty newish to them). I tried finding something that night scratch the same itch as Ajin and started Deadman Wonderland but that wasn't quite it (it was good, just not what I wanted "taste-wise" right now). Now I'm reading Tokyo Ghoul and enjoying that a lot more so far.

Sorry! I wasn't sure how to convince OP it might fit their requirement without the mild spoiler.

There are lots of sword and axe fights, but the protagonist's father is a man who has sworn to not kill and fights only with his hands. Semi-spoilers, but his son eventually does the same (after lots of fighting with daggers however).

I'm mixed on this. On the one hand, I'm glad that NYC isn't bending over backwards to accommodate Amazon. On the other hand, I worry that that means that another, smaller city will be chosen that will do so. With NYC, at least they could have easily handled the influx of money and people, some other places not so much. I've been living in Seattle for the past four years and it's interesting to see the effect that the money has had on the city as well as the large influx of tech workers.
