So of late, I've been reading:

Hai to Gensou no Grimgar (Vols. 9 and 10): Man this series is getting crazy. I'm not sure how to spoiler tag anything here, so I don't wanna say too much, other than that if you think the anime's dark, well holy shit. The character progression has seemed a bit stilted at times, and certain plot developments seem a little forced, but overall the series is at an 8/10 for me right now, as I really love seeing characters' decisions bear consequences they're forced to live with, and justify in some cases.

Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! (Vols. 6-10): Wow. I didn't think Aqua could be any more useless. Oh well, she's certainly good for a few comedic moments. The more I read the main series (there are quite a few spinoffs), the more I love this group of misfits that somehow calls itself a functioning party. Hopefully I'll be caught up on this one by the end of summer.

As far as stuff I've watched, can't say I've seen anything notable this season. Senko-san is a good dose of iyashikei, as is Senryuu Shoujo. Kimetsu no Yaiba's art has been good, but the story imo rather feels forced into standard shonen fare, unfortunately. Really looking forward to summer's adaptation of Arifureta: Saikou Sekai de Shokugyou by White Fox (if they do at least passable with the CG). Hikasa Youko as a masochistic dragon really has me excited, and idk why.

I love how Aqua put like nothing into actual skills and put her points into party tricks. But I'm glad we agree on best girl. Wiz ftw.

I'd be surprised if it were any later than winter 2020 since the PV is imminent. I just hope Hayami Saori and Touyama Nao come back as Yukino and Yui, respectively.

No problem. Heaven's Feel Part II was incredible, by the way. Easily one of the best anime films of the past several years.

So I finally got into the Grimgar light novels. Really loving them. They make a great binge, and only take 4 hours or so to get through each. Currently waiting on volume 5 to come in, so that's been kind of a slow wait. But it ends tomorrow! Seriously, if you love dark fantasy, I cannot recommend Grimgar strongly enough.

Edit: Started Arifureta's light novels. Over the past few months, I've basically given up manga and shifted to light novels as my primary source of entertainment. To those who are put off by "walls of text", that's what I thought too. Just try one and you'll be hooked.

So I finished Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works this week. Was an absolutely wonderful watch throughout, and while I really can't say much because of spoilers, it actually managed to be better than Fate Zero, which I had as a 7.8/10 on my AniList. Actually I think I ended up giving UBW a 8.5/10. Now to watch the Studio DEEN 2006 Fate/Stay Night adaptation before moving on to Heaven's Feel Part I.

That was up there for my fall Anime of the Season along with Goblin Slayer. Kayanon absolutely nails her role as Juliet.

You should also mention the anime is coming up soon. I believe it airs in spring if I'm not mistaken.

I'd suggest reading the light novels, honestly (by the way, don't confuse the web novel for the light novel; they are two completely different stories). Shouldn't take too long to binge (I'd estimate 40 hours or so for the whole series, maybe 50). And the next translated volume comes out 19 March.
