Some say it's too soon for a new installment, but developers have confirmed that 2020 additional content purchased on the marketplace will transfer to 2024.
I'm so excited, I love flying and some day hope to have a PPL (private pilot's license), but until then this is the next best (not to mention much cheaper) thing to experience general aviation all around the world.

I know MFS2020 has VR support on PC, but Microsoft in general doesn’t seem to care enough, and I understand why, but it’s still a shame.
I am hoping that if this is a separate product, it sits beside the existing flight sim. They had discussed supporting it for at least 10 years before release, I'd hate to see that not be true....

Yeah, I’m curious if this will be a full replacement, or a separate thing. In the trailer they highlighted different aviation jobs, so I’m curious if that’ll be the focus as opposed to general...

Or at a bare minimum, that any purchased DLC content transfers to the new one. If that's not the case and it's a separate product, this is going to be something of a shitshow.

My biggest complaint with MSFS is I fire it up so rarely that I need to launch it an hour before I want to play it, which means I just never play it.

The Dune Orinthopter sold it for me. I am but a simple man.
It looks good but I cringed a bit at the "VIP charter service" which is, well, "controversial" nowadays.
You can always drop the passengers off at the nearest active volcano.

Having said that it looks pretty interesting!

I've heard that DLC does transfer.
This looks pretty exciting! It's nice to have missions, rather than just airport to airport.
