    I am a PhD candidate specializing in electron microscopy, and I'll likely hang around the ~science community to discuss and answer chemistry, physics, and engineering questions.

    Like others around here, I am looking for an alternative to Reddit, though I am still occasionally active on there.

    So far, this seems to be a friendly and civil place. Let's keep it that way!
