    I'm a 15 year (or something like that - I delete my accounts regularly) reddit vet. I mostly used old.reddit.com and RIF. I mostly stuck to smaller, niche and discussion oriented sub, so I'm really loving tildes! I've only been on here for a day but I'm really liking the smaller, community feel. It's like moving from a gigantic bustling city to a small, friendly town in the country haha.

    I have written 150k words in a Fanfic! Normally, when I start a fanfic, I write about 3 pages and then get bored or discouraged and give up, but this time I can't seem to stop writing. I'm having so much fun with it and seeing where the story takes me. I even came up with my idea for an original work of fiction, and once I finish my fanfic I'm planning to get started on it!

    I'm a Reddit refugee, and I think a certain user group of Reddit would really like it here. It reminds me so much of Reddit from 15 years ago when I first joined the site. There used to be such an emphasis on discussion and less on memes. Even memes back then on Reddit mostly stemmed from discussions and not from images/videos. Reddit is nothing like how it used to be back then, and I think the older users of Reddit who joined the site back then would appreciate Tildes and they would be able to adapt more easily to the culture of this website. Newer users who joined Reddit for memes and endless scrolling content probably wouldn't fit in well here, and most likely would quickly grow bored and move on to other sites.
