Plenty of people I knew who were involved in trying to find the artist behind it and everything led to a dead end.

Comment on Microsoft will keep classic Skype alive ‘for some time’ after user backlash in ~tech

It's hard for Skype to compete with so many different services that focus in one area- Skype can't really be a catch-all anymore, now that the options are broader.
It's hard for Skype to find a middle ground.

I don't think many of these people (including Alex Jones) expect sustainability when they choose to serve their controversial content over services like Twitter, because the service still has to maintain a positive public image. Eventually, and especially for conspiracy theorists, they migrate to echo chambers once they're banned from enough social media platforms. Once they move to smaller social media platforms, that's when they usually become less significant.

I'm a fan of MichaelMJD - lots of tech videos that run down what-ifs, history, and other nerdy stuff.
Another classic is danooct1 - showcases payloads, the history of viruses, goes surface-level for hacking, etc.
