Another classic is danooct1 - showcases payloads, the history of viruses, goes surface-level for hacking, etc.

The competition for Skype is fierce, and it's definitely peaked (in terms of household & business use) - personally, the companies I've worked under had all moved to either Slack or Mattermost, which is business-oriented, and of course there's still Discord which appeals to gamers. It's hard for Skype to compete with so many different services that focus in one area- Skype can't really be a catch-all anymore, now that the options are broader.

It's hard for Skype to find a middle ground.

However, when there is censorship on these platforms, there is always an alternative. I don't think many of these people (including Alex Jones) expect sustainability when they choose to serve their controversial content over services like Twitter, because the service still has to maintain a positive public image. Eventually, and especially for conspiracy theorists, they migrate to echo chambers once they're banned from enough social media platforms. Once they move to smaller social media platforms, that's when they usually become less significant.
