We saw the Avatar movie in 4DX and it felt like a gimmick. The blast of air in your ear every time someone fired a bow and arrow was distracting and annoying. The seats moved around like a rollercoaster which was fine, I guess, but I would rather watch the movie without being flung around. The shiatsu-style massager in the chair literally felt exactly like the person behind us was kicking the back of the chair which was extremely annoying. My partner wears glasses and is on the shorter side and she found the water spraying did nothing but mist up her lenses. Overall a pretty poor experience and we won't be doing it again.
