This is a video recording (recorded in a studio that is an old house) of him performing one of his best (IMO) songs in the fashion, Spectrolite. (and another one by him I just found, similar fashion)
I've also enjoyed "Permanent Holiday" by Mike Love which does an interesting "vocal building blocks" bit starting around the 4:20 mark.

It makes them a bit fluffier/spongier-in-a-good-way in texture, with a nice small boost in vanilla flavor to the cookies. I'm unsure if she adds any additional moisture to the mix to go with the pudding mix, but an approach like this might work for ya...

EDIT: a few others...
Ritual Cloak covering "Orange Crush" (by R.E.M.) - more downtempo/dreampop-ish
Grace Jones covering "Warm Leatherette" (by The Normal) - more upbeat/pop; great contrast between the music and lyrics! -

We solved it for her office chair (a $350 Serta, nothing wild itself, but one she liked the overall design+feel of, but still sat a bit too high when all the way "down") by swapping out the gas cylinder for a slightly shorter one purchased off Amazon for, like, $25. Super easy swap out and works like a charm (just have to check the diameter and height measurements to make sure the replacement cylinder will fit AND will go "low enough"; I believe we shaved 2-3" off the seat height).

Comment on First time homebuyer who just closed on a house, does anyone have any general advice? in ~life.home_improvement
bae +1 on these here. Being able to do things like painting and floors is WAY easier without covering/moving furniture (if that's an option). As you mentioned, cleaning is a great place to start. As you mentioned, cleaning is a great place to start. Also would suggest prioritizing based on need, stuff like leaky plumbing or unsafe electrical getting the top of the list. Outside of that, it's a journey, there will always be something you'd LIKE to accomplish competing with stuff you NEED to accomplish, just roll with it. :)
And congrats!
The couple of suggestions offered already here both sound like they'd work fine, IMO.
I'm sure your ducks will love it! :)
