    Melvins, always the best show. Seen them more times than any other band, at least 3 dozen times. Acid Mothers Temple, every concert they do something I have never seen anywhere else.

    Try before you buy. Listen to the guitar, each pickup, roll the tone knobs and listen for real tone change. Roll the volume and listen to the tone and how it breaks up. Compare the volume string...

    How loud is it?
    How sharply does the note hit?
    How long does it sustain?
    Does it resonate bassy or trebly?
    Does it twang, crunch, or growl at high volume?
    How far do do yo have to push the strings down?
    Is the guitar heavy?
    Pick you guitar for sound.
    Try to get one that is light but very stiff, but most of all sounds good.

    And it could be any guitar.
