A Starstruck odyssey is my top choice.

Yeah, I have been using Relay for a long time now. Currently, it is still working just fine, I'll keep using it until it finally requires me to pay or shuts down. If the price is right, I might still pay for relay, but only if the remaining users continue to put up good content in the communities I follow.

Either way, I am sure I'll find a good place for doom scrolling. Hopefully Tildes! :)

Our first encounter was two Yeti's. Thankfully we didn't try to fight them. Instead, I intimidated one into backing down, and we discovered its Tyke being hidden in a wagon near by, I freed it, and we survived. Ha ha!

Does the DM run their character? Does another player? Do they get sent off to other tasks while the present adventurers continue?

It can be situational, but if the players agree, the campaign continues. This helps with busy players.
