    I self-host because in some cases that is my only option. :) In addition to the more standard things that others have already mentioned, I'm running a few homemade containerized tools on my network. At the moment:

    • A BGP blackhole controller -- I feed it a list networks, ASNs, countries, and IOCs I want blocked. It peers with my router and signals what prefixes should be blackholed.
    • I use Quadstream on my Apple TV to watch multiple Twitch streams at the same time, and I have a companion script that I can feed a list of streams with an assigned priority. It periodically checks what channels are live and updates what Quadstream's pointed at.
    • A script that monitors a list of YouTube channels for new videos, pulls their transcripts, summarizes them with gpt-3.5-turbo, and sends the summaries to Discord via webhook.

    Anybody else running anything more bespoke?
