Veritasium - An australian physics professor (well he teaches at university level) who makes compelling and well explained contentTom Scott - He's put out quite a few different types of videos in the past but seems to be focusing on interesting and unique places and things. He has a fairly sciency lean.
The Noted Anatomist - Not someone I watch for fun but when I was studying anatomy I found it very useful
Steve Mould - Maths and Science videos. Very simple, with some great practical demenstrations of odd physics phenomenon.
standupmaths - A combination of serious maths, silly maths, and funny maths.
singingbanana - A maths PhD who features prominently on Numberphile
Numberphile - Arguable the most well known maths channel, run by the loveable Brady Haran who is arguable the most succesful educational youtuber with like 15 channels, a high output of quality content, and a couple good podcasts to boot.
Nerdwriter1 - Not sure if truly can be considered educational but I feel like I learn stuff when I watch. He does video essays on film, with (to my uneducated eye) great insight.
3Blue1Brown - Super pretty representations of mathematical concepts. Sometimes they even help me understand the concepts better.

This is a hobby I have always been abstractly attracted to, but I was always worried I would end up sinking thousands of dollars into it. I love the idea of photography without the ability to take thousands of frames at a time and without being able to immediately check the outcome of the photo.
How is it that you started getting into this?
