I am fond of Voivod 90s output as well. Biomech by Ocean Machine is a pretty good alt metal album from the 90s. One Eyed God Prophesy s/t is a somewhat obscure screamo album from the 90s

Messages send through Beeper will be decrypted and then encrypted using a different protocol and forwarded to the app of your choice. So the matrix server can technically read all of your messages. So I don't think its suitable for sharing sensitive info. I would recommend self hosting Beeper if possible

I'm using KISS Launcher. The navigation is smooth and the launcher is really lightweight. Kiss differs from conventional launchers in that it places more focus on the search functionality for navigation, but it works well once you get used to it. Also, the launcher adapts according to your usage making it easier to access your frequently used apps.

    It's available on F-droid

I can understand why someone would think that. On the surface, it might read like the ramblings of a self absorbed person, but I find Pessoa's lyricism transcends this to offer something more profound to the readers. The lyrical prose might not appeal to everyone, and many of the themes discussed in the book recurs as the book goes on. So, if you didn't find the book interesting, I don't thing that opinion will change much as the book progresses. I would still recommend giving it another try in the future.

I just finished reading Fernando Pessoa's The Book Of Disquiet yesterday. It took me some time to finish since it is the sort of fragmentary, aphoristic writing that is better when read in bits and contemplated rather than reading it in one long stretch. But it was definitely worthwhile. Pessoa was someone who perceived his emotions so intensely that he is able to turn even the most trivial of them as a key for understanding his own psyche. The writing style has a very surreal quality it and Pessoa's prose is simply gorgeous.
This was one of the best books I've read in recent time. I am planning to get into more of his other works as well

Sync uses Google Admob and CrashLytics to display ads and collect telemetry. You need to pay a subscription fee to remove these anti-features. Ads and telemetry are absent from the majority of other Lemmy clients like Liftoff, Connect, Thunder, etc. So Sync is quite poor in regards to privacy compared to the other options right now
