This is amazing. Never Ending Math Equation is probably my favourite from this.

Also pick up a quirky indie game once in a while. FEZ or Thomas was alone for example.

Picking up bodyweight training was probably one of the best decisions I ever made. It's fun and offers a wide variety of exercises. Get a pullup bar if youre serious about training, apart from that you don't need to buy anything. Train to some soundtracks of your favourite animes or boxing movies or train in silence and it's almost like meditating.

Heard of him but didn't know his connection to the book. I found out about the book after reading several Orwell essays online (and 1984 of course)

The Road to Wigan Pier by George Orwell
The first part discribes the living conditions of working class people in the thirties, especially of coal miners. It's interesting and horrifying at the same time. The second part is much more essay like and deals with socialism and inherent class barriers. As a sheltered, twenty year old programmer who always idealised the working class life without knowing much about it, the book was pretty eye opening.

The Old Man and the Sea is my ultimate motivational book. Every time I put it down I feel full of energy and go play guitar for hours. It's such a great story.

Amusing ourselves to death This book showed me how easy it is to waste your time watching video essays on youtube and browsing articles without actually learning anything.

    Modest Mouse
Especially their first two albums. *The lonesome crowded west" is probably my favourite. They make great rock music that constantly swings between noisy and incredibily soft and beautiful. The lyrics are entertaining as well. Good music for driving, walking or cleaning up your room.
