What have you been watching and reading this month? You don't need to give us a whole essay if you don't want to, but please write something! Feel free to talk about something you saw that was cool, something that was bad, ask for recommendations, or anything else you can think of.

Crest of the Stars has found itself on Crunchyroll, and I am kind of enthralled. It’s a space epic that does a good job of putting you in a brand new universe with drastically different politics, technology, and economics. It’s also very “talky” so it’s certainly not for everyone.
It’s yet another anime that hooked me with its killer soundtrack. It makes John Williams seem overrated. I also really love the contemporary 90s design aesthetic.
The story is very slow, but the pacing is not. The world is so robust that you need to understand the politics and history behind the current scenario and so it manages to stay interesting. The two main characters are also pretty interesting; the audience stand-in character is a soft-hearted and somewhat ignorant male, while his companion is an iron willed ambitious female. And while the two of them have drastically different backgrounds the two of them have surprisingly good chemistry together.
Reread and caught up on berserk. No I am sad:( Also for the One Piece book club I am in I read water 7 arc!
