Comment on Suggestion for a new label: "Misinformation" in ~tildes

My experiences on Tildes revolve around discussions and opinions where most of the "facts" generally are in the post or articles themselves. Most comments below those posts are not users engaged in an exchange of facts, but an exchange of ideas and opinions.
My concern is who is responsible for placing the theoretical tag and who needs to curate, check, and moderate comments or posts with the tag.
Maybe this could be good, but in the end it may be better to engage in discussion to resolve the perceived misinformation. People are people, we are allowed, and unfortunately very very likely to be wrong and misinformation, but as long as we can grow and change we can move forward.

I think that at the time of writing Weir needed more experience (which i guess really only comes from trial and error) on writing non-cis male characters. I have yet to ready anything else from him, but maybe its time to give Artemis another shot, and step on to his new stuff.

Maybe I didn't pick up on the subtlety, but I wouldn't have minded a direct opinion on the materialism and capitalist culture that taken hold of us in this wonderful nation \s.
Without being too critical of the piece itself (and I guess it has done its work on me by making me feel things) i think it lacks some punch and feels pretty surface level. But an interesting perspective nonetheless.

It's been a great read so far, and I have not even watched the TV show! Thanks for the recommendations, I'll try to pick it up if I can soon!!
Any other recommendations for authors similar to Bourdain? I have not read much non-fiction, generally, but have been really enjoying his works.

He has this desire to connect with the culture he is existing in. What I specifically resonate with are his realizations of the wall that is between him and other people as he films and 'performs' the role of tv host while with them. Haven't finished yet, but I'm really surprised by how good his writing is!

The role of a police force in a community should be community law enforcement, not military role play.

Maggi sauce on Chips Ahoy.
As a kid I used to do BBQ sauce (whatever was on hand) or yellow mustard and sometimes a slice of cheese... times were simpler when my taste buds were still developing!

Le Guin writes such detailed, yet mysterious worlds, immersing you in a world's culture. Like an outsider in a foreign city, your head swivels, eyes dart as you try to take in everything she has to offer in her settings and characters. Every time I read one of her books it's like traveling to a new place.

I really loved Forcefield and saw them when they came to my city about 10 years ago while on tour for the album! My favorite song on the album was Through the Wire!
