As a kid I used to do BBQ sauce (whatever was on hand) or yellow mustard and sometimes a slice of cheese... times were simpler when my taste buds were still developing!

Le Guin writes such detailed, yet mysterious worlds, immersing you in a world's culture. Like an outsider in a foreign city, your head swivels, eyes dart as you try to take in everything she has to offer in her settings and characters. Every time I read one of her books it's like traveling to a new place.

The setting it very much meant to drive the story, but Arrakis is not necessarily a place I would find fun to...I found myself having very similar thoughts after hearing about Dune: Awakening. mikey LinkTechnically not reading, but I have been listening to the Blood of Elves by Andrzej Sapkowski (first Witcher book). I am enjoying it much much more than the show and games I've played! I love the...Technically not reading, but I have been listening to the Blood of Elves by Andrzej Sapkowski (first Witcher book). I am enjoying it much much more than the show and games I've played! I love the attention to detail in the book regarding the day to day of their adventures. I went in expecting more pulp fantasy with a Mary Sue MC, but get excited Everytime Getalt says "I'm to old for this" after almost dying!

mikey LinkEvery time I open an app like Doordash or Grubhub, I tend to just make food at home. I have a few problems with them. One being the overwhelming amount of choices, and the fact that I personally...Every time I open an app like Doordash or Grubhub, I tend to just make food at home. I have a few problems with them. One being the overwhelming amount of choices, and the fact that I personally feel I can always trust what the reviews or recommendations in the apps are telling me. I haven’t had many good experiences. Like others have commented, the food sits for a while and is always worse quality than what you intend to purchase. I think they are helpful to order food for pickup, but then why not just go directly through the restaurant. Our local pizza place delivery is always faster and cheaper when i call, as opposed to ordering through an app. I recognize everyone has different circumstances, but more recently than every I feel regret from using these services!

mikey LinkStarted playing Hunt: Showdown with some friends; we have been having a lot of fun with the game in the few hours we have played. Its not too intense, and the PvPvE is fun! Fight other players if you want, or run, hide, and get our alive!
I don't have any recommendations at the moment, but curious how long did it take you to read 100(!!!) books?
