    While this teaser looks visually superior to the second season, it's still J.C.Staff and they're withholding the director's name. I hate to be pessimistic, but this studio consistently gives me reason to be with their low-to-mid quality, high volume output. Hopefully this is slated for a year in which they aren't already working on 6 projects.

      I don't know anime production people. Why is that bad? Just the production speed over quality? What do they do wrong specifically?

        They're mediocre. Their animation quality is mediocre, their storyboarding is mediocre, their everything is mediocre. Not necessarily an issue for an anime that features slower paced scenes, but...

        Not necessarily an issue for an anime that features slower paced scenes, but going from the absolutely stellar Season 1 One Punch Man to.. this.. just feels bad.

        I never ended up finishing season two, it was just mediocre and season three will be too.

      Was it J C Staff who did first season ?. Remember the hype of first season and having great collaboration of people onboard to get it done . am I wrong ?

        Season 1 was done by Madhouse. Season 2 switched to JC Staff.

    Welp here's hoping it's good. I get that season 1 was a sort of one time thing, and I did enjoy season 2, but it sure felt like they were pushing against their budget/cutting corners.

    They'll never recapture the excitement from when the first season aired. It's quite a loss really. That was one of the things breathing fresh air into anime.
