What have you been watching and reading this week? You don't need to give us a whole essay if you don't want to, but please write something! Feel free to talk about something you saw that was cool, something that was bad, ask for recommendations, or anything else you can think of.

Just saw Spy X Family Code: White in theater yesterday and it was amazing! Highly recommend for any fans of the show or just anime in general. It's the perfect blend of slice-of-life mixed in with both action and comedy. The show has quickly become probably my favorite anime series in the last couple years.
I have been watching Helck, and it's been hilarious. I'm at chapter 12 and it's my thing: an overpowered guy doing his best, and a tsukkomi girl (the straight man yelling at the nonsense) with an excellent voice actress.
Just binged the entire first season based on your recommendation and it was great! But ends on a cliffhanger unfortunately, very frustrating! Hope season two comes out soon to wrap up the story.
Mild spoilers for Megalo Box
Nomad: Megalo Box 2
I was not expecting the tone shift in Nomad. Went from shounen to seinen like that. It took me until 3 episodes into this season to figure it out.
Megalo Box is not a story about boxing. It's a story about a man with no friends, no family, and nothing to his name but the gear on his back, discovering a lust for life that he never had before, and finding those things which he always lacked. It just happens that he is a boxer, and boxing is the lens through which we see his dreams made real.
Nomad is a story about a man who's lost his friends, his family, and his will to live, listlessly drifting through life, not living, but merely surviving. Fighting not for the love of the sport, but because it's all he knows. This is a man ridden with guilt, for what he's done, and what he's failed to do. This is not a story about boxing, it's a story about salvation. Boxing is simply the lens through which we see this man's salvation happen.
The first season got an 8/10 from me, this season is catching a 9.5. Haven't been this emotionally invested in a show since Haibane Renmei.
I've just caught up to the latest 2 episodes of Train to the end of the end of world.
If you aren't watching this, and want to have some fun, you owe it to yourself to give this one a try. Because it's fun, and even if you aren't invested in it long term, you'll still hardly regret watching an episode. The series' tone is pretty absurd, though not in a manner that alienates the audience.
