On a night within the holy land and amidst the holy war, treachery struck. Another historical fiction by Jaadugar author. It's interesting how everyone devoted to their religious causes met unfortunate ends, yet the helpless princess who chose to reject the promise of salvation got to live. But earlier, one of the assassin who felt sorry for her questioned why their imam did not save her. Well, god works in mysterious ways.

This yuri is doomed on a metaphysical level.

Binged another 2010's anime I missed, Chivalry of a Failed Knight.
I actually came across Asterick War on insta, but people were saying Chivalry was the better version. It was really good. I appreciate that the MC is not necessarily OP. He's built up a lot of skills to make up for a lack of magic. He uses his one meager ability the best way possible. At the same time, there's plenty of people who are stronger. He's a good underdog. Also the early admission from the love interest is nice.
I'm very tempted to get into the LN. There's been issues with the english translation. Apparently a new company picked it up a few years ago after the original went out of business. It seems to be doing them well because they're about 2/3rds through the series. They started with the first volume too.
I also jumped into some new animes from this season.
I caught a clip of the english dub online and it cracked me up! The series is pretty funny and has a cool world. I like that the story isn't just in the game world, but also the outside world. Seeing the developers discuss in game events is really cool. It's almost like an evil group without them being evil, if that makes sense. Seeing how they control things, but also just witnessing and hoping certain mechanics end up working. Also the MC being voiced by the samee english VA as Mirio makes this funnier to me.
This is just a future space isekai. MC is OP. He's gets women and 👏 cheeks, but doesn't initially intend to. This is just a simple fun watch. Plently of funny moments and kinda low stakes
I actually looked this one up. Was looking for a good death game anime to watch. A few episodes in and this is solid. I like the setup and them going back and forth from the other world and the current one. So far they've setup some good lore and the mechanics of the is simple, but provides good action. The first episode tried to give the MC some emotional motivations, but it was cliché and weak. I couldn't care less. One of the few times that I'm interested in the action more. It's scratching that death game itch for me.
