What a masterpiece! Incredible energy, superb lighting, and the music is great (I really like Stromae).

It's all in French but also all subtitled. Though as far as the music's subtitles go, you do lose a lot of the nuance...

Would love to hear what others think about this. The entire concert is stuck in my head right now.

Holy shit... someone else who loves Stromae!? I rewatch his 2015 Montréal - Racine Carrée Concert at least once a month. It's just so goddamn good and I am obsessed with it. All of his music, his style, his dancing and especially his insanely creative music videos are amazing.

For anyone unfamiliar with him, check these videos out (turn on captioning for English):

So yeah, I am a huge fan of Stromae, and this concert in particular too. It was even one of the first things I posted to Tildes. :) And I still rewatch it every couple months, along with VULFPECK's Live at Madison Square Garden, which is another of my absolutely favorite full concerts to watch online.

By the way, what do you think about the intro to Racine Carrée? I would almost think it's a reference to LIMBO.

Yeah, the intro is definitely reminiscent of LIMBO, and I'm pretty sure that's entirely intentional, since it would not be the first time he has drawn inspiration from the game. IIRC he fully admitted to the "cancer limbs" in quand c'est? being inspired by the spider in LIMBO, when he first gave people a sneak peak of a clip from the music video way back when.

There's something else ... I was thinking I was going crazy, but now I'm thinking it's possible. Some of the background electronic music from mid-concert is very reminiscent of Super Hexagon. I'll rewatch tomorrow to pick up exactly when it's from, but the background actually kinda looks like Super Hexagon as well.

It does have an awesome soundtrack though (like most of his games), so I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Stromae has played it too.
