Neat... but Roald Dahl has been done before and reasonably well, so what I really want is a Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials series that is actually true to the source material, including the "controversial" and darker subject matter, rather than a neutered Hollywood abomination like the movie was. HBO or Netflix are probably the only ones that would be able to pull it off.
