I don't love the webtoons adaptations of comics. That aside I only found Locke and Key so-so and didn't read more after the first volume. Wondering other people's thoughts on it

If the format bothers you, I can recommend trying a copy from your local library. I enjoyed reading a physical copy of the series quite a bit. The characters are for the most part well written, the spooky scenes well drawn, and the magical keys brought me back to a fun time of childhood where I imagined special powers or abilities.
As the series progressed, I realized the ethical implications of these power-granting keys would cause serious harm to people in the real world. A fun subversion of the typical power fantasy.
To be clear I read the regular Vol 1 previously and didn't like it much, it was fine but did not interest me enough to keep reading. I didn't read the webtoon version because I'm not particularly...

I didn't read the webtoon version because I'm not particularly a fan of the scrolling format.

I thought it was pretty good, but I got in as an Audible adaptation that was available as a promotion and I thought they did a pretty good job of it. It's horror that tries to start you out as a whimsical kids book but goes to some very disturbing places really quickly. Art was a bit off putting when I actually got to the comic, but as far as a "gotta collect all the magical artifacts" story, it scratched my itch pretty well.
Wasn't a fan of the Netflix take, but I'm sure it has its audience.
