He starts off with AWS vs Google (endorsing AWS) and the rest of the list is AWS heavy. My own experience with AWS has been good. Back when I was first wrestling with it circa 2013, AWS had some rough edges but was light years ahead of Google, and they offered the Govcloud which was critical for us. The other endorsements I have experience with are in line with my experience, so that either lends it credibility or confirmation bias.
One notable new one for me was recommending Linear over JIRA. I have always disliked JIRA, but I hadn't seen many real competitors, so I am excited to check it out
