This seems like an interesting tool for making more "Web 1.0"ish personal sites. Looking at their github it hasn't been updated in a while, but everything still appears to work. From the website:

    From the website:

HOTGLUE is a visual tool for making amazing web-pages!
Simply manipulate pictures, text and video directly in a browser window!
Editing a page looks exactly the same as viewing it, the only difference is that you can move things around!
    No programming skills needed!

The interesting thing about this submission i would say are that:

    1. Indieweb is more popular than ever, and i'm seeing more and more people establish their own web presence - either instead of, or in addition to conventional social media silos.
    2. Also, if one considers the politics that is happening in the U.S., at least there is a big whiff of anti-establishment...and if we consider that this tool directly references samizdat [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samizdat], well, let's just say, maybe they're trying to capitalize on tools that can help with anti-establishment activities. Anyone remember zines from the late 80s/early 90s? ;-)

I suppose tools like this and other related ones are either becoming popular, or merely re-surfacing...which from a tools perspective is not a bad thing.
