    If you've ever wondered how many yurts are in Mongolia (who hasn't), the answer is ~172,689. This blog post explains how. Side note: Edited the title slightly from "I counted..." to "Counting..."...

    If you've ever wondered how many yurts are in Mongolia (who hasn't), the answer is ~172,689. This blog post explains how.

    Side note: Edited the title slightly from "I counted..." to "Counting..." to not imply that I wrote the article, because I didn't. Hell I don't even understand half of it. Not sure if this is correct so feel free to change it, but I felt that this way avoided any possible confusion without altering the overall meaning behind it.

    One of the most important functions of government is inspiring the citizenry to achieve greatness.

    This seems like an odd philosophy of government and state functions to me. I would think the purpose of a state is providing security, providing support to ensure that the rights of the citizenry are met, these kind of things. Is this a different philosophy? I mean, I don't disagree that it's cool if the citizenry is inspired, but I'd rank it far from most important...
