Basically, codingame lets you write programs to play games. There are several different types of games. Some of them are about writing an AI to compete against other AIs. Others are about making a program to solve single player puzzles. My personal favourite is called code clash. You are given a problem and you compete against several other people to complete it the fastest, or with the fewest lines of code.
I think it's a fun way to sharpen algorithm skills.
