      I wonder how long it will be until someone makes a front-end framework that re-implements a rendering engine and DOM, outputting everything to a canvas. The main advantage would be you no longer have to worry about different behavior between browsers. The main disadvantage is it would be much slower. If the webasm renderer isn't based on existing web technologies i't's like you're starting the web over from scratch.

      Your website would also be completely obfuscated.
