If you've ever been thinking about switching from Linux to one of the BSDs, I recommend OpenBSD. They prioritize doing things correctly which leads to a secure operating system. Personally, I appreciate how everything is designed to work together whereas the GNU utilities tend to somewhat work together depending on which release you're working with. The BSD way is more unified and suits me better.
