I've been crocheting my ass off!! I completed a shark, Eevee, dinosaur, fairy and am working on completing one more fairy and then I will just have to make a unicorn mermaid and I will have made all the small gremlins in my life something for Christmas. I will update in a bit with some images and pattern links!

Eevee! x - pattern by nemuuucraft
Some notes: I think there was one error in some of the stitch counting on the legs, but I can't be too sure because I can get pretty lost easily lol. I decided to get more detailed on the face than the pattern so it would look more like Eevee. The eyes took me a non insignificant amount of time and I still have little pieces of felt strewn about my house from me trying to get all the little pieces cut. It was very satisfying to put together.

One lil sharky - pattern by CCsWhimsicalCrochet
This one worked up really fast and is so teeny, I love it.

Pink fluffy dino - pattern by rinmeow
This is a very sweet pattern. Lots of good notes and images throughout. I used the yarn I had on hand so the chenille is a little thicker than the blanket yarn so her turned out way bigger than I thought he would lol!

Little Fairy - pattern by SleepySheepPatterns
This one is pretty involved, but still really fun to make. There's so many pieces to make it can feel overwhelming. While I still need to make the wings, I'm not sure if I'll use the ones in this pattern or try for something else, we'll see. But I love how the lil fairy turned out and I am working on the second one which is going much faster. The biggest change I made was sewing the dress and boots on and gluing down the flower headband. These are for pretty young kiddos, so I wouldn't want these tiny pieces to a.) go in their mouth or b.) fall off/be taken off and get lost. I felt better knowing it's one piece lol.

I’ve been doing the same! Only working on one (big) project right now, but another batch of yarn arrived today for a second, smaller project. I had to rip out all most all of the work on my big project recently because I goofed and was using the wrong stitch for 75% of it. Oops.

That is so devastating to lose all that work. Sometimes the crafting is a cruel mistress. I hope your small project goes well!! What are you making, if you don't mind me asking?

The big project is a poncho for my sister, and the smaller one is a baby blanket for my sister in law (her first kid).

Aww! Such a bummer you had to frog so much of the poncho, but I'm sure your sister and SIL will enjoy their gifts. Handmade baby blankets are always such a sweet gift.

I did most of the sorting, he did most of the placing. We only worked on it together for about 2 hours. However, that's actually a lot of time for him to be sitting and concentrating on one thing, since he's only 8, a bit hyperactive, and so normally wanting to do something different every 30min while he's over here visiting us. So finding something for us to do together that managed to hold his interest for that long is still a massive win in my eyes. :P

That's such a cute puzzle!!! I might just have to get that for my niece for her birthday. And that is quite the accomplishment! A definite win in getting him to concentrate on something for 2...

Oh, wow. The Eevee is amazing! If you had an Etsy shop, I would buy one of those in a heartbeat. The shark and dino are pretty dang cute too, and the fairy is just flat out impressive all around....

I have a grandiose idea for a World of Warcraft addon but had to scale back my ambitions due to both a total lack of website building knowledge and inexperience with Lua.

What I originally wanted to create would have been like the Raider.io of player behaviour, effectively a community run website to flag problematic players (for both toxicity, intentionally feeding, group sabotage, ninja looting, etc.) My reason for wanting to make it is that Blizzard don't have a clue how to moderate their own games.

My ambitions have scaled back to wanting to make a better and more reliable blacklisting addon that would aim to improve upon others like Personal Blacklist and HaveWeMet by

    1. Improving the UI, so that it's easier to access the list and edit entries. PBL doesn't allow you to edit entries and HWM just has an awful user interface in general.
    2. Allowing the ability to share blacklist entries with other users of the addon in the same group.
