I have been trying to improve my sketching, getting back into Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain. I am still not particularly good at drawing anything realistic. I'm starting to get the hang of general proportions of what I'm drawing. My handwriting has also gotten neater as a result.

I'm sort of trying to stay creative similarly to how one exercises to work their body. I downloaded a bunch of Vengeance's samples (the ones everybody at all related to EDM production likely know)...

I'm sort of trying to stay creative similarly to how one exercises to work their body. I downloaded a bunch of Vengeance's samples (the ones everybody at all related to EDM production likely know) to see what they've got and found everything I wanted for a sample-based workflow.

I whipped this together just messing around, in a Renoise session designed after the Polyend Tracker, which I intend to use more both for sampling workloads, but as the brain of my environment with my Airas, a coming Monotribe, and Volca Keys. I was trying to find conventional samples I could do fun stuff with and, while I didn't really get into it there, at least I don't need to worry about finding solid samples I can tweak and flip to my own desire.
