    I read the title thinking "what the hell is this nonsense" but then I saw it was about turf, and well, yeah that shit was and is fuckin contentious here. No doubt the practice has to go, even if it is a pity to see such a traditional practice end. The Irish government has been shockingly bad at preventing habitat destruction, and the only thing that seems to motivate them is not wanting to look bad in front of the EU when they review climate targets. So be it. I also wouldn't mind seeing them protect what little native woodland we have left, or god forbid, replant some.

    I had no idea about Peat. Great production by Hoog on YouTube too! This world is on a death spiral and hard to steer back. Sad, but hopefully we can preserve the habitats or at least get full genome sequencing of most of the contributing life and their conditions. Thanks for the great share!
