I find it so crazy that such a drastic headline can be an article of nine sentences. I feel as though the news of the effects from climate change will just trickle in under the radar until it is...

There, a species extinct; There, a glacier gone; There, yet another one hundred-year storm in just the past ten.

Interspersed with the rest of the news the events of our own lives, how can it not get lost in the noise?

They're not wrong, but the news never lets up. This news isn't even that the snow is gone, its just not a "glacier" anymore. Next year the news will be that there's just drifts left, and then...

It's too late to fix, but not going to destroy the earth just yet. Nothing will change until the boomers die off, and all the people trying to fix it now are kinda crazy. So why don't we just tune it out to static and worry about surviving the decade with work, rent, food, and subscriptions bleeding us dry.

I'm not saying thats my opinion, but it feels like that's what society is doing.
