This somewhat reminds me of a similar tool developed in the UK this past election with the sole purpose to vote out the tories. You enter where you live and it tells you the best candidate to vote for to fulfill that purpose.

In the US, can't you just focus on the swing states as a whole since they are ran like senate races? I know exceptions are in Nebraska and Maine since they split their electoral votes.

I just finished How to Interpret the Constitution by Cass R. Sunstein. As dense as it was I cannot imagine it being any more simplified to detriment. It was very informative, and while I definitely don't have a constitutional interpretation theory I subscribe to, I definitely know what I do not subscribe to. The author makes his biases upfront and does a good job getting diverse opinions in.

I just started Seeing Like a State by James C. Scott and am very intrigued by his ecological framing so far. It is not what I expected from the summary but I think it is effective for the points he has made early in the book.

I also looked at the punkt but just wasn't a fan of the numpad typing. Dumbphones in general seem to be at a point of each one having some good features but missing others. The Light Phone 3 has 6 gigs of ram and 128gb of storage, if there is a device to have signal this would certainly be it. Fingers crossed

Ive been using the Light Phone II full-time for two years now and am pretty excited about this new product. My current phone still works great and I don't plan on switching soon, but seeing the unique camera and the fact that is can be opened makes me hopeful. Repairability is my only gripe with the current model, although I haven't had any reason to open it up yet. Battery is still going strong!

Like others on this thread I must mention the price tag.. holy moly. I think they will quickly realize that $800 is an insane asking price. I personally think $400 (even $450) would be a reasonable full retail price for what you're getting. I hope this model supports Signal

Many see it as similar to Naturalism, and some see it as just atheism, but my beliefs generally align with Pantheism. Quite frankly, I haven't taken the time to flesh out what I entirely believe when it comes to spirituality/religion, but I do know what I feel and what I've experienced.
I believe balance with the natural world and honoring it in your own way is a form of prayer and brings you closer to God, if you want to call them that. I believe this expands into community, and service to your community is a responsibility we all have to each other. While I do not believe in the magic that some pagans practice, I do believe that the things humans do have a spiritual impact on a place.

The University of Maine is closed today (Thursday) with the suspect still at-large. UMaine is 110+ miles away from Lewiston. This really is felt statewide.

On the indie side of things, here's a couple:
Couch Dog, a band I randomly found in-person from San Luis Obispo, California. They are awesome
chokecherry is a new band with two songs. Their first song is pretty great and I look forward to their future stuff!
Red McAdam is a super fun country artist. Great to dance to
