I live on an island in BC Canada which right now has level 4 water restrictions (no washing of vehicles or property; Vegetable gardens, shrubs, trees and flowers are restricted to a hand held container or a hose equipped with a shut-off nozzle system for 1 hour maximum). There are currently 200+ wildfires in our province and everybody is nervous AF. I'm pretty sure every summer from now on will bring a feeling of unease...
I'm surprised they don't have water bombers in Maui; there's plenty of seawater to fight fires with.
