My mother is currently in an ICU in Italy and has received several pints of blood. The only thing I (thought) could do was to donate blood to replenish the amounts used, however the ban is still in effect in Italy.

The anecdotes about the slave trades in particular are absolutely heartbreaking. Should be a must read for high school.

This album can be enjoyed both actively and passively. It's not for everybody as it's not just a music album as much as a soundtrack to a "meditation" journey.

I don't suffer from anxiety, but on occasion I might have some worries on my mind, and this album helps me return to a nice base level "normal". As you listen to the sounds and melodies you can mentally visualize landscapes and come up with narratives that overtake anything that was initially on your mind. It works best when doing nothing while listening to it.

It's also a great album to listen to when coming down from a therapeutic mushroom session.

My puppy chewed on my three month old Uniqlo hoodie's zipper. Instead of buying another one, I bought a replacement zipper and took it to a seamstress to repair it. I think I spent about 18 Euro. She did an amazing job and I felt better about spending my money at a local haberdashery and artisan instead of repurchasing another hoodie from the multi-national company and throwing away an almost new damaged hoodie.
Fast forward 6 months and the puppy chewed up the new zipper! I'll be going back to repair it again...The more we can keep tailors in business the better.
