Well, paired with the ongoing civil war, this is incredibly bad for the people. The world has been mostly focussed on the middle east and Ukraine recently. Unfortunately, I'm not so convinced even without that the world would focus a lot on Sudan. The civil war in the Central African Republic is barely discussed, if at all, and Syria well, is basically abandoned.

One number that blows my mind is that the amount of displaced Sudanese is 5 times the amount as the total population of Gaza. And there are 25.6 million Sudanese facing acute hunger. Gaza is important, yes, but it is in my opinion unjust how overlooked, underreported, and forgotten the civil war in Sudan is - and Myanmar deserves a mention as well..

If there is one more disaster with all the chaos, I wouldn't rule out the majority of the 25.6M figure you show to starve. Incidentally, the amount of starvation and disease related numbers is similar to WW2.
